Doug brings his strong understanding of media, technology, and finance, when consulting with clients and when bringing new and innovative businesses to market.
Previously, Doug served at Diversified Worldwide Holdings (“DWH”), the corporate venturing arm of Global Advertising Strategies (“Global”). At DWH, Doug sourced, structured, and managed Global’s strategic investments. Doug also led Global’s client facing Interactive Services Division. Doug has prior experience building digital communication programs for Fortune 500 companies across a variety of verticals, with an emphasis on healthcare and the life sciences.
Doug came to DWH from OneMedPlace, a research firm offering intelligence to investors in the medical device and biotechnology industry. Cress played a variety of roles at the start-up, from managing editorial production to sourcing new business opportunities and growth venues.
In 2011, Doug founded Cress & Company, a marketing and communications consultancy and a holding company for a number of internet ventures. Doug graduated from Tufts University with highest honors.
